To save you hassle, we can arrange for large items to be returned or collected for you.

If you return an item because you’ve changed your mind, you’ll need to pay the return costs. You have 14 days to tell us you’ve changed your mind. If the item is new and unused, and in its original packaging, we’ll refund you minus any return or collection costs. We’ll use an economical return method and inform you of any costs before they are incurred.

It’s important to inspect your order on delivery and before signing for your parcel. In the rare case your order arrives damaged, hand your parcel back to the courier and you’ll get a full, no-quibble refund.

If you do not manage to check your order on delivery, you have 24 hours to tell us about any damage. We request that you photograph the damaged product and the packaging and send us the images.

For Home James Design products, we do not accept returns due to there being damaged or missing parts.  For this range we offer a replacement parts service.  Parts are sent direct from the manufacturer and can take up to 5 weeks to arrive.  

For all other ranges, we’ll arrange for the item to be returned or collected, and if the item is new, unused, and in it’s original packaging you’ll get a full, no-quibble refund. Outside of 24 hours damage will be deemed to have happened after delivery.

Pieces that are made from solid wood have inherent variations in texture, tone, grain pattern and knots – please expect each piece to have its own unique characteristics.


In the event that an order is cancelled prior to despatch, we may, at our discretion charge a cancellation fee.  This will be limited to the fees which we have incurred in processing your original payment, which is likely to be around 3%. 

Please note that a restocking charge may apply to certain orders which are cancelled after despatch.  This apples to specific suppliers, please ask for details.
